The Freightliner Cascadia

The Cascadia boasts the largest cab in an 18-wheeler, putting comfort at the forefront of the design without sacrificing safety. The Cascadia is known for its automatic safety features including cruise control and lane assist, its aerodynamic design, and its level of fuel efficiency.

The Cascadia keeps maintenance simple with a full-tilt hood for easy engine access, a removable dash panel, and an in-cab eVault containing the fuse and relay box. When you add smarter connectivity, powered by Detroit Connect®, you get a semi truck that’s built to keep drivers and their cargo moving.

M2 106 Plus

The medium-duty Freightliner M2 106 Plus is a freight truck designed for maneuverability and versatility. The M2 106 Plus offers up to 55 degrees of wheel cut and a swept-back bumper for excellent maneuverability. The M2 106 Plus is perfect for navigating narrow city streets, busy job sites, and other situations where less maneuverable trucks might struggle. The M2 106 Plus offers drivers and owners a choice of a day cab, extended cab, or crew cab.

The 108SD Plus

The 108SD Plus provides plenty of options for use in a wide range of applications including construction work and work with municipalities. The 108SD Plus is available in truck and tractor configurations and offers a choice of a day cab, extended cab, or crew cab. This truck is powerful, with a gross vehicle weight rating of up to 69,000 pounds.

Freightliner Electric Trucks

Freightliner is known for its commitment to innovation and advancement in the trucking and transportation industry. Their trucks are continuously updated, tested, and improved. They work to introduce new technologies to the industry focusing on improving fuel efficiency, safety, and driver comfort.

While electric trucks are gaining in popularity, Freightliner is at the forefront. Developing alternative fuel trucks is part of Freightliner’s objective – and the trucking industry as a whole- as the industry pushes to reduce emissions, promote sustainability, and show care and concern for the environment.

Freightliner has worked to develop advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), technology connectivity features, and alternative powertrain options such as electric and hybrid model trucks. That development includes the all-electric Detroit® ePowertrain™, designed specifically for Freightliner’s electric freight trucks. It provides the ultimate in power, efficiency, and dependability.

Freightliner eCascadia

The eCascadia contains the familiar features of the classic Cascadia but runs on electricity. Depending on the model chosen, the eCascadia has a typical range of 155, 220, or 230 miles on a full charge. The typical recharge time is around 90 minutes to go from 0% to 80%. Running on zero emissions doesn’t mean the eCascadia loses any of the power and durability associated with the Freightliner Cascadia. This truck offers a gross combination weight of up to 82,000 lbs.

Freightliner eM2

The eM2 is the electric version of the M2 106. The electric version has a typical range of 180 or 250 miles, depending on the model. The eM2 has a recharge time of about an hour to go from 0% to 80%. With a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,000-33,000 pounds, the eM2 is ready for all your medium-duty freight truck needs.

Freightliner Vocational Trucks

Freight trucks and heavy-duty trucks aren’t just used for long-haul deliveries. Freightliner trucks offer a variety of vocational uses including construction, deliveries, food and beverage transport, and whatever else you might need a truck for.

Freightliner Plus series refuse trucks combine productivity and maneuverability for urban routes. These durable garbage trucks are designed to keep cities, towns, and fleets running strong.

Utility

Freightliner offers a series of bucket trucks, digger derrick trucks, tree trimmer trucks, and other utility trucks made to meet a variety of needs. All are designed with durability to withstand hard work, and driver safety and comfort are at the forefront.

Government and Municipality

In addition to garbage trucks, governments and municipalities also need sewer vac trucks, snow plow trucks, dump trucks, and more. Freightliner’s vehicles are efficient, durable, and reliable.

Oil and Gas

Freightliner’s severe-duty oil and gas field service trucks are able to keep job sites running in harsh conditions. They travel from the oil fields, along the highways, and back again.

For Sale Through Handshake Fleet

Handshake Fleet might not have the new eCascadia, or anything close to a SuperTruck in our inventory. However, Handshake has Cascadias and their predecessors, Coronado and Columbia. Handshake has a variety of Freightliner’s medium-duty freight trucks for sale. While you can’t customize a used truck the same way you can a new truck, our extensive inventory ensures there will be an option to fit your needs. Trucks are designed to last, and a used truck can still get from point A to point B with a much smaller upfront cost. Freightliner continues to be one of the manufacturers with the top trucks for sale, and Handshake is proud to sell them!
