Art’s Trucks & Equipment was founded in 1967 in McAllen, Texas, and McAllen has been the company’s home ever since. The location was originally a service station with a handful of used cars on the lot, but the owner purchased a used dump truck and grew the business from there. For more than 50 years, we have specialized in vocational trucks with an emphasis on vehicles used for city and municipal work, including dump trucks, garbage trucks, digger trucks, and bucket trucks. Today, we also specialize in water tanks and water trucks, including fabrication. We sell new water tanks and pre-configured trucks, and we can work with you to build a custom water truck complete with tank, spray system, and other features. From the start, we have always been a family-owned and operated business.
