Company History Charles Shirk founded Shirks International, Inc in 1962 as an IHC dealer in both farm equipment and motor truck. During several years of expansion and continuous market changes the decision was made in 1987 to exit the farm equipment business and continue with the growing truck transportation industry. The decision was made in 2001 to more than double the size of our service department. We also decided to add a second shift which allowed us to service our customers until 10pm. Due to technological advancements we were able to provide equipment to customers throughout the United States and many foreign countries. This allowed us to provide a more diverse inventory of trucks for both our local customers and those outside of our area. One thing has not changed and that is we continue to search for opportunities to improve our business and provide superior service to our customers.
